This reminds me of me and my little sister except we were Florida girls who wore our hair (often dry as straw from chlorine I recall), straight and natural. I never once remember having a “do”, like this one, certainly never anything remotely like this. Maybe they are child opera stars? I do remember wearing this kind of “ribbon” in my hair. It was like a large piece of shag carpet.
